BIL has two manufacturing units located at Bahadurgarh in Haryana and Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir. Both these well-designed plants have the state-of-art Blenders, Pulverisers, Graders as well as Booth Mixers and machinery for Granules. High degree of specific occupational safety and environmental norms are the hallmarks of both the units.

Fully equipped and integrated R&D laboratories at these plants assess the process of formulations of new products. Expert entomologists, toxicologists and chemists ensure total quality management (TQM) in the production.

The combined annual capacity of the two units is over 16500 KL for liquids, 2100 MT for wettable powder (WP) and 7800 MT for generic granules (GR).

Growth Prospects

With its products reaching markets in more than 40 counties, BIL has merited Government of India’s recognition as Export House. On the domestic front, well established network of 23 offices in different states and chain of more than 30,000 dealers and 3500 distributors are spread across India. Strategically located 23 warehouses ensure faster delivery of products to the farmers. Over 250 sales personnel supported by 117 field personnel are on the role of the company. 500 experts have been retained to counsel the farmers on latest trends in pest management.

Newly Explored Markets

Consequent to creating an impressive impact in northern India, BIL has made foray in the regions south of Vindhyas and also the North Eastern states. It commenced operations in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh including Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and Maharashtra. With this the company has developed a nationwide network. It has already targeted a sales turnover of Rs.340 Cr. for 2014-15 as such plans are afoot to expand in geometrical proportion in all the states sans any regional imbalance.
